What is Equinox?

Equinox is a general contractor blazing a trial in Knoxville adding an additional layer to the construction market. We are focused on remodeling kitchens and bathrooms combining our design-decorating element with the much-needed construction service. We are a one stop shop alleviating the need for the consumer to make choices on their own and acting as a general contractor for their projects. Our process enables consumers to live their day-to day lives while we take on the responsibilities of the project.

Bathroom Remodel

Whether you’re looking to make the primary bathroom an oasis or simply updating a guest bathroom, we have done them all. We have re-routed plumbing and electrical, converted tubs into showers, and added additional vanity sinks. We feel that the bathroom becomes more of a personal space so our designs take everything into account to maximize your investment to achieve the best looking bathroom in the neighborhood, unless we did your neighbors!

General Contractor Services

Equinox is a full-service general contractor. Our GC license allows us to do anything to your house you can dream up! Our portfolio includes additions, swimming pools with outdoor living spaces, screen rooms, door or window replacements just to name a few things. We have a team of professionals working with us to make sure that your project flows seamlessly from engineering and permitting to final clean.

Our Process

In Home Consultation

This is the first time glance at the project. We start the communication about the scope of work and to get a feel of your environment, likes and dislikes for style and products.

Free Estimate + Design

At our scheduled time, you will receive an email or phone call to review your estimate. We will be providing a Rough Order of Magnitude estimate or (ROM) for short.

Retainer Agreement

To move forward in the process a
small retainer fee is collected and is based off the high end of the projected project cost.

Selections

We start with a few color palates derived from computer 3D modeling to
start narrowing down colors and textures. Together, we will visit the showrooms to touch and feel the products to make final selections.

Contract + Materials

Once all the selections have been made and the construction scope defined, Equinox will provide a detailed contract down to the penny.

Begin Construction

Once we receive all the products and permits, we begin construction. We will provide an initial construction schedule specific to the scope of work being accomplished and will update until we receive the certificate of occupancy.
